According to shock absorption type classification

Shock absorption Type	Features
Rubber	High comfort, but poor weather resistance, generally used in single axle load 450kg-3500kg trailer, double axle load can reach 6000Kg; Suitable for the use of good road conditions. It is widely used in foreign saloon car chassis
Metal	Poor comfort than rubber torsion bar, good weather resistance, used for single-axle load 1500kg-4500kg trailer, suitable for the environment of very bad road conditions.
Leaf spring	Poor comfort, but strong overload capacity, long life, with the frame connection need front and back bracket or balance suspension, not cheap installation, used for single-axle load 900kg-5000kg trailer, double axle load can reach 9000Kg.
No shock absorption	Axle and frame for rigid connection, poor comfort; It is suitable for the transport of general cargo in a small area with low speed trailers.

According to number of axles and steering classification

Number of axles and steering mode		Features
Single Axle		Bearing capacity of 450kg-4000kg, small turning radius, flexible traction, good tracking performance, suitable for high-speed traction.
Two Axles	Wheel steering	Front wheel steering, flexible steering, low load surface, good stability, more common application, limited by the structure of the steering Angle, generally < 45゚, tracking performance is lower than single axis and shaft steering. Bearing capacity range 2000kg-7000kg.
	Axles steering	Front axle turntable steering, large steering Angle, can turn in place, tracking ability is better than wheel steering. Due to the need to increase the turntable support, the center of gravity is higher, the stability is not as good as wheel steering. Bearing capacity range 2500kg-9000kg.
	Mid-slip steering	Double axis juxtaposed, belongs to slip steering, it is difficult to move in a small range, requiring a large turning radius. If there is no balance suspension, the axle load is not uniform when the road condition is poor. Currently there are few applications.
Multiaxial		The front axle is the steering axle, and the rear axle can match one or more shafts. Because the rear axle does not match the balance suspension well, the axle load is not balanced, and the application is less.
